Infamy

Out of all the graffiti documentaries that’s been released this film is definitely one of the best. The film reveals the love and respect that each writer has for the art and the culture; the time it took for them to establish them selves, and the sacrifice that they’ve made to peruse their passion.

I personally was in attendance on the opening day of the show and I was impressed with every single piece. The environment was very welcoming and the music helped keep the mood tranquil as you observed the art through out the room. If you’re with in the New York City area I would suggest that you go check out the exhibit and while you’re there make sure you read The artist statement; it will give you a profound explanation of what motivates Joe when he goes to create a piece. I’ve left you a flyer and a couple pix I took of some of the pieces which can be seen in the exhibit.
